The fresco restoration continues…

The fresco restoration continues…

As work progresses, restoration methods continue to be perfected on site.

Artistry, scientific techniques, material analysis, pigment research, composition research, and historical findings mean that this project, initiated by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, firmly positions the Palace of Monaco on the world art scene.

Thanks to the sheer scale of discoveries, but also the effort to improve or even invent sustainable restoration methods that respect the art, the resources, the environment, and the people.
